Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time - Division Vice President to join our team!

The Division Vice President is responsible to provide oversight, guidance, and leadership to the care centers and operations teams for the assigned Division. This includes accountability for operations, financial performance, managing client relationships, strategic implementation and people management. Business partner for Clinical VP, working in collaboration to define Division strategy and appropriate implementation plans to ensure success.

The DVP reports to the CEO. Positions that report to the DVP include Regional Directors, Practice Managers, Surgical Center Managers, or others in similar positions. The DVP works in close collaboration with Support Center departments, including revenue cycle, recruitment, finance, business development, marketing, human resources, IT, etc.

Duties you will be responsible for:

  • Financial and Operational
    • Prepare annual budgets in coordination with operational leaders, clinical leadership and finance/accounting team
    • Establish appropriate internal processes and other standard work tools to ensure effective and efficient operations
    • Monitor business metrics related to financial and operational performance, including interfacing with support center departments responsible for data production and analysis
    • Interface with other leaders within the organization as needed to resolve issues and successfully implement divisional goals and objectives
    • Implement start-ups and acquisitions in collaboration with designated internal work groups, as well as clinical and operational leadership
    • Prepare and present operational and financial reports as required
    • Ensure Care Center leadership teams (PMs and physician partners) are meeting on a monthly/regular basis to review financials, metrics, and other care center/regional/divisional initiatives.
    • Regularly engage with clinical VP to review and monitor divisional performance
    • Work with managed care team on contract negotiations and/or identifying areas of opportunity for payor collaboration on projects
  • Business Development, Acquisitions and Organic Growth
    • Assist Business Development as needed by participating in business development meetings, identifying target providers within local market, obtaining and disseminating pertinent information, or serving as key contact in acquisition opportunities or expansion of services
    • Attend weekly Business Development Review meetings to discuss strategy initiatives as it relates to acquisition targets
    • Identify additional services and modalities, analyze their feasibility and implement where applicable.
    • Establish processes to ensure effective operationalization of organic growth opportunities and acquisitions, including participating in relevant meetings, acclimating new providers and groups to the organization, implementation of standard work
    • Interface with recruitment team to ensure appropriate processes are in place to identify and place potential candidates in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Client Management
    • Identify key business partners within the Division and develop regular touchpoints with appropriate stakeholders (i.e. hospitals, ASC partners, etc.)
    • Engage Regional leadership in appropriate client relationships to promote accountability within the organization to meeting and delivering on mutual initiatives
  • People Management
    • Business partner for executive physician leadership, ensuring that the patient experience and day-to-day needs of the centers are handled efficiently
    • Assures engagement, satisfaction, and alignment of employees, physicians, and executives to for effective implementation of strategic and operational plans within the Division
    • Creates an environment that promotes effective communication and responsiveness to customer needs (both external and internal)
    • Provides leadership to Regional and Care Centers teams
    • Establishes regular Division and Regional Leadership Meetings to ensure ongoing and frequent communication regarding company, divisional and regional initiatives and expectations
    • Establishes regular regional calls with regional directors and/or practice managers to review updates, high priority items, upcoming events, etc.
    • Works in close collaboration with recruiting/HR to fulfill needs for short, mid and long-term success and market development

    Minimum Requirements

    • 10+ years managing multiple locations at a Regional/Division level
    • Master’s Degree in business/health-related field
