Inpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Acton, MA (Emerson Hospital)

Full-time | Monday–Friday | Gastroenterology

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our inpatient gastroenterology team at Emerson Hospital in Acton, MA. This is a Monday through Friday position with no weekends or call, offering a balanced schedule in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Practice Details:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule

  • Inpatient-focused position based at Emerson Hospital in Acton, MA

Job Duties:

  • Manage inpatient consults and follow-ups

  • Evaluate and coordinate care for acute and chronic GI conditions

  • Order and interpret lab work and imaging

  • Write and refill prescriptions appropriate for diagnosis

  • Collaborate closely with GI physicians and hospital staff

  • Participate in GI-focused patient care initiatives and protocols

Candidate Requirements:

  • Active NP or PA license in Massachusetts

  • Board Certification and prescriptive authority required

  • Prior gastroenterology or inpatient experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and clinical skills

  • Adaptability, integrity, and a commitment to patient-centered care
